Flautaren historia, egurretik metalera

Until 18th century flutes were made of wood.
Then, some flutists and flute makers (fluthiers... I love that word) began to "taste" metal for their instruments, and a total revolution came. Theobald Böhm created nowaday's standard concert flute, which is actually made of silver or gold.
This picture illustrates the transition from wood to silver. It has been a pleasure to plan it, model it, create he materials and textures and finally render it. Everything, of course, with Blender and Cycles render engine, and for textures also Gimp's help. I like the result. And I've decided to show previous tries. The one with the leaves in the wooden part is a version (and improvement!) of a friend of mine, Peio!!!
Thank you so much, Peio, ha, ha, ha!!

Flautak egurrezkoak ziren XVIII. mendera arte. Gero, flautista batzuek esperimentatzen hasi ziren, hasi ziren metala "dastatzen" haien instrumentuak egiteko, eta azkenik erabateko iraultza etorri zen. Theobald Böhmek sortu zuen gaur egun estandarra den kontzertu-flauta, zilarrez edo urrez eginda dagoen instrumentua.
Goiko irudiak ilustratzen du egurretik metalerako trantsizioa. Plazerra izan da planifikatzea, modelatzea, materialak eta texturak sortzea eta, azkenean, renderizatzea. Dena, noski, Blender-ekin egina dago eta Cycles motorrarekin renderizatzea, eta Gimp-en laguntza ere texturak egiteko. Gustatzen zait emaitza. Eta erakutsi nahi izan dut aurreko probak ere erakustea. Egurrezko zatian hostoak dituena nire lagun baten ekarpena (eta hobekuntza!) da, Peio!!!
Eskerrik asko, Peio, jajaja!!!
